Iron Maiden’s ”TROOPER” beer wins Gold in the British Bottlers Institute Competition 2014 and is now to be released in Sweden in 33cl bottles.

Most were convinced that it would be a total success when British hard rock legends Iron Maiden released their first beer - TROOPER. It didn’t take much time for the Swedish consumers to take the flavoursome beer, brewed at Robinson Brewery together with vocalist Bruce Dickinson, to their hearts.

In Sweden The Trooper Ale is released in a new format, this time in 33cl bottles from Monday 1st September at Systembolaget with article number 88883 for 21,90 kr.

Sari Wilholm, Brands for Fans, says:

– That a legendary band like Iron Maiden also manage to win prestigious awards with an amazing beer is great fun. Just like their music, they have gone into this with no compromise but total dedication. The Swedish consumers have long been asking for a 33cl bottle of the Trooper Ale, and we are glad to finally be able to present their favourite beer in a demanded format.
